Climate Change Score Card – A Social Accountability Tool for Environmental Governance
Climate Change Score Card (CCSC) is a social accountability approach that adapts the best features of community score cards, participatory appraisal and surveys, and connects them with desk analysis of regulations and governance processes within the framework of climate change and livelihccd vulnerabilities Mille local area. CCSC allows for an informed dialogue between communities and local governance structures as well as the many other stakeholders who provide services to a region. In biro, this creates a foundation of knowledge derived equally from local experience as well as global overviews. This is useful for improved delivery of existing schemes, as well as the reformulation of policies, laws and regulations to meet the emenging needs demanded by rapid Climate change.
