(RSKs) in Karnataka to Strengthen Service Delivery

Key Activities:
• Completed literature review of RSK institutional guidelines along with comparative analysis of eight states with
respect to the state specific initiatives on agriculture support institutions
• Had an inception meeting with department officials to bring all the stakeholders on board
• Undertook scoping exercises/orientation visits to RSK, Focussed Group Discussion (FGD) and Direct Observa-
tions were carried out to understand the scope of RSK functions and farmers’ perspectives
• Mapped indicators for data collection and evaluation framework for preparation of survey questionnaires
• Finalised research design and prepared questionnaires
• Conducted field survey (Citizen Report Card) with selected samples with quality monitoring from PAC study
team in all the 30 districts
• Conducted Community Score Card (CSC) exercise in each administrative division of Karnataka.
