Final set of Reports on SDGs 1-5 and 10: Using the raw data that was made publicly available, CODR carried out two
major analyses - firstly, carried out a gap analysis between NFHS 4 and NFHS 5 to identify indicators and geographies
where there have been improvements or setbacks on various critical themes covering both medical and social deter-
minants of health; secondly, all the major indices were recomputed and updated for concurrent decision making. The
indices generated included - the Multi-Dimensional Poverty Index (MPI), the Human Development Index (HDI), the
Gender Equality Index (GEI), the Malnutrition Index (MNI) and the updated Health Index, which were included in the
relevant SDG reports. In the SDG 10 report, the CODR team estimated the HDI for Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled
Tribe (ST) and Minorities with a gap analysis against the HDI of the General population, and along with the domain team
developed a strategy for increasing HDI with focus on critical talukas.

Detailed concurrent analyses of 24000 plus RO Plants was carried out at regular intervals by the CODR team for
preparing the report by the PPMS Department for the Joint Session Committee. The report was required by the Joint
session Committee for assessment of capacity, structures and functional status of the RO plants as per guidelines issued.

Application of eJanMa data in indices - While comprehensive reports based on eJanMa and SECC had already been
submitted in the previous FY, the eJanMa for the last 4 years was used to compute and identify the five most prevalent
Non Communicable Diseases (NCD) causing mortality in Karnataka, which was added to the SDG 3 report as well.

The CODR continues to support the Action Research work of PAC by providing robust and credible data analytics to back
          findings from its projects.

Other landmark and long term projects running currently include training and capacity building of faculty members of
the Administrative Training Institute in Karnataka that hosts Officers of Administrative Services, building easy-to-use
systems for the State Institute of Rural Development, GoK, helping departments of the Government of Meghalaya to
perform better in terms of public service delivery.
