Public Affairs Index (PAI) 2022 Summary Report

Completing seventy-five years of freedom is an important milestone, and as a country, India has much to be proud of. In great measure, this has been possible because of the vision for action contained in the Constitution of India, the Preamble of which aspires: to secure to all its citizens JUSTICE, Social, Economic, and Political. Successive governments at the Centre and in the States have strived to fulfill this mandate. This imperative circumscribes the analytical framework of the Public Affairs Index (PAI) 2022, in assessing the governance performance of the states looking forward India@2047.
