Shreejata Niyogi

Ms. Shreejata Niyogi is a Ph.D. scholar at the Institute for Social and Economic Change, where she recently submitted her doctoral dissertation in Sociology. She holds a Master's degree from Jadavpur University and her research interests span gender studies, intersectional identities, feminist criminology, and sociological criminology, with a focus on qualitative research methods and methodologies. 

Before pursuing her Ph.D., Shreejata worked as a journalist for two years, gaining experience in the media industry. She has also served as a Research Consultant at the Institute for Social and Economic Change. Her hobbies include reading classic Bengali novels, listening to music, watching movies, and enjoying Indian classical dance performances through videos.
