To address the basic issue of crop losses due to animal
menace, the State government has introduced the Mukhya
Mantri Khet Sanrakshan Yojana (MMKSY) scheme in
2016. The scheme aimed at protecting the crops from
wild animals, increase the income of the farmers and
bring them back to agriculture. The present study is to
assess the impact of the scheme.
