Nutrition Atlas of India

This project envisages a focused approach by reaching out to critical regions and social groups and this is the main driving force behind developing a Nutrition Atlas for India.

It will primarily identify the status of various nutritional/health indicators in India. The indicators are developed based on the UNICEF framework for addressing malnutrition. The pattern of exclusion across regions (States and Districts), social groups, minorities, gender etc will be analysed. The atlas will also attempt to identify the possible causal pathways to malnutrition by using machine learning models and come out with feasible solutions. The State profiles will be presented identifying the key interventions and way forward.
